VIDEO: Traffic crash at Kirkwood Rd intersection

4.30PM UPDATE:

GLADSTONE police, ambulance paramedics and fire and rescue crews attended a three vehicle crash at the intersection of Kirkwood Rd and Dixon Road.

The crash happened just before 3pm.

A Fire and Rescue crew were quick on the scene as the officers came across the accident while returning to Gladstone after attending an earlier crash at Calliope.

 No one was trapped but one driver was made to stay inside his Subaru wagon by officers until ambulance paramedics arrived to assess his injuries.

 

 He and another driver have both been taken to Gladstone Base Hospital for observation.

 The crash also involved an Isuzu four-wheel drive and a small Suzuki Swift hatch.

At 3.36PM Saturday:

THERE are reports of a traffic crash at Kirkwood Rd, Gladstone at the intersection near the shops.

A number of police and fire crews are on the scene.
