Town in mourning

TRIBUTES flowed yesterday for Gracemere man Kyle Biddle, who died in a car accident just outside of Biloela on Sunday afternoon.

As friends and family came to terms with the tragedy, his Facebook page was filled with heartfelt messages for Kyle and his family.

Friends fondly remembered his smile and sense of humour as they used the page to farewell their mate.

Mr Biddle, 24, was behind the wheel of a Mitsubishi Lancer when it and a Toyota Hilux ute collided on the Dawson Highway 2km west of Biloela about 1.40pm.

It is believed he was heading back to Gracemere with his girlfriend, Sarah Muston, and another female passenger, when the crash happened.

The CQUniversity graduate was a network systems technician at Ergon Energy, where he had worked since 2005. Ms Muston was flown to Brisbane and last night was in a serious but stable condition at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. The other passenger was transferred to the Princess Alexandra hospital in Brisbane.

The two occupants of the ute were taken to Biloela hospital.
