Tour operators asked to plan for cruise visitors

GLADSTONE region companies interested in offering tours to P&O Cruise patrons are being asked to express their interest to a working group planning for cruise ship arrivals next year.

The Gladstone Region Cruise Liner Working Group is looking for expressions of interest.

Cruise patrons will have an eight-hour stopover in Gladstone, so local operators are advised to use that time wisely when planning tour options.

The meeting will be held at the Gladstone Entertainment and Convention Centre.

Interested tour companies can phone Jodi Pilborough on 5562 2039.

Cruise ships will stop in Gladstone from May to August next year.
