Here's where to make the most of Melb Cup

MELBOURNE Cup is just around the corner and The Observer has you covered for the best place to watch the race.

The Gladstone region is offering a number of lunch deals at pubs, restaurants and bars on Tuesday.

The Grand Hotel is offering a photo booth, live entertainment, prizes, two-course lunch and a glass of sparkling on arrival for $90.

The fun kicks off at 11am

The Miriam Vale Hotel is opening its doors at 9am for an entree, buffet and dessert experience as well as a sweep.

Tickets are $25 per person.

Lightbox Espresso and Wine bar are combining forces with the Gladstone Entertainment Centre for a high-class lunch.

There will be gourmet canapes, live music by The Corporates and fashion parades.

Tickets are $50 and it starts at 11am.

Harvey Road Tavern is putting on a buffet lunch including seafood.

There will be complimentary bubbles, beer, wine and soft drink. Tickets are $100.

Gladstone Reef Hotel will have live music from Lonely Boy from 5pm, with a fashion parade and fashions on the field opportunity.

Tickets are $65 per head.
