Toadbusters take on Tondoon pests, catching 1182 critters

TONDOON Botanic Gardens is crawling with invaders - at least, it was until the Toadbusters stepped in.

On Tuesday night, 53 volunteers caught 1182 cane toads at the gardens, as part of the weekly event.

The pests are given to CQUniversity for research.

Next Tuesday, the Conservation Volunteers will be toadbusting at Beaumont Park from 6.45-8pm.
