HE'S suave, has style and grooves and he's coming to Gladstone.

Tom Burlinson, the king of swing, and his eight-piece band are set to wow the crowd on Sunday, April 20 at the Gladstone Marina Main Stage.

Burlinson will pay tribute to Frank Sinatra and also perform some ballads.

He's performing in Gladstone for the Jazz n Shiraz event, as part of his tour around Australian.

"I haven't performed here before," he said.

"We have two sax players, a trombone, bass, piano, and guitar players. Everything is live and people appreciate the quality of my musicians."

Although the Jazz n Shiraz show occurs on Easter Sunday, the father of three is determined to juggle both family and work.

"We will have our Easter egg hunt in the morning before I come to Gladstone," he said with a laugh.

Jazz n Shiraz is $65 per head and begins at 6.30pm. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own picnic rug and chairs.

See Thursday's Pulse for an in-depth interview with Burlinson.
