Gladstone toddler taken to hospital after nearly drowning

A TWO-year old girl was taken to hospital on Monday after nearly drowning in a wheelie-bin that had been filled with water.

She was playing in her Clinton backyard with siblings when her mother heard screams.

Queensland Ambulance Service transported the girl to Gladstone Base Hospital in an unstable condition at around noon.
