Tink treats cancer survivors to pamper

TINK McMullen has a big heart and big wishes, but this time she wanted to help people in a low-key way.

Mrs McMullen is the creator of Tink's Wish List, a not-for-profit organisation that assists people with long-term or terminal illness to fulfil a wish.

She's ticked off eight wishes for illness sufferers including weddings and family holidays and raised more than $100,000.

Last week she decided to hold a cancer pamper morning at CQUniversity's city campus to make survivors feel special.

"I keep hearing how relaxed they (women) are which is good," she said.

Debbie Rosenthal and her friend June Jago were treated to a manicure, facial and makeover.

Tink joined in on the pampering.

"This is lovely and I'm usually the one running around after everyone else," she said.

"We need a bit of fun because it gets hard sometimes."
