Jeweller helps cancer survivor to celebrate

AFTER a three-year cancer battle and spending thousands of dollars on medical treatments, Robyn Lindley and her husband knew it was time the money was spent on something special.

Two beautiful rings by jeweller Miranda Manifold illustrate a significant anniversary and a well-deserved present for Mrs Lindley.

She has two pieces by the jeweller, who will release her Christmas Collection at Gecko Valley this month.

Her first stone, a blue topaz, was won at a Miranda Manifold function and was later modelled into a gold and white gold dress ring, combined with other diamonds.

Mrs Lindley's engagement ring was also remodelled by the jeweller for her 10th wedding anniversary.

"It was exciting because you go from just an idea in your head, then it's designed and then you get to see the finished product," she said.

"It's a cool feeling going into a jewellery store and saying I like that, but how many other people have that?" she said.

The engagement ring was completed last month.

"I've been through cancer and we've spent a lot of money on medical bills, so it was nice to have something special," Mrs Lindley said.

CHRISTMAS COLLECTION

  • Miranda Manifold's Christmas Collection official opening will be held at Gecko Valley Wines on Friday, November 14 from 6-7.30pm.
  • The jewellery will be matched with clothing from Fantasy Rags.
