Woman charged with being three times over limit

A WOMAN was caught drink-driving on Wednesday with a blood alcohol reading more than three times over the legal limit.

When the 47-year-old driver was pulled over a test showed her blood alcohol level to be 0.169.

Police stopped the female driver on the Bruce Hwy near Benaraby at 9.30am.

The woman will appear in the Gladstone Magistrates Court at future date to face a charge of driving under the influence.

Police are reminding people to monitor their alcohol consumption whenever they intend driving.
