Three injured in multi-vehicle crash at Alexandra Headland

ALEXANDRA Parade has been reduced to a standstill after a multi-vehicle crash on the popular stretch.

Emergency services were called to the Alexandra Headland crash at 8.30am to the crash, with reports that three women have been injured.

Paramedics are treating two of the women with soft tissue injuries and will transport them to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads said lanes had been reduced and delays were expected.

Motorists are advised to proceed with caution.
