Three lose licences for high range drink-driving

THREE high range drink drivers were among those losing their licence after appearing in Gladstone Magistrates Court last week.

Patrick Michael Madigan, Andrew James McDonald and Patricia Mary Majella Ferguson were amongst the highest range drink-drivers.

Mr Madigan, 51, was disqualified from driving for six months and fined $800 after he recorded a reading of 0.113.

He was breath tested by police on Taragoola Rd, Calliope.

Mr McDonald had a reading of 0.271 after he was pulled over on the Dawson Hwy, Calliope.

The 28-year-old was fined $2000 and banned from driving for 20 months.

Ms Ferguson was fined $800 after being breath tested on Sun Valley Rd in Gladstone.

The 58-year-old had a reading of 0.133 and was disqualified from driving for six months.
