Thieves target Sunshine Coast apartment buildings

MAROOCHYDORE police are reminding residents and holidaymakers in the area to be proactive about protecting their property.

Over the Christmas period there has been a slight increase in thefts from apartment buildings.

Maroochydore police station officer in charge Senior Sergeant Gavin Marsh has urged those living or staying in apartments to keep balcony screens locked at all times.
