Thief allegedly uses bottle to rob a bottle shop

UPDATE 8.53AM: A 27-year-old Hermit Park man has been charged with robbery and three unrelated counts of stealing.

He will appear at the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Monday, April 11.

EARLIER: A MAN has allegedly used a bottle to threaten and rob the staff of a drive-through bottle shop in North Rockhampton last night. 

Police report the man entered the Lakes Creek Road shop and stole goods from the shelves.

He then escaped on foot.

Anyone who may have information which may assist detectives is urged to contact Crime Stoppers or local police.
