Thefts from cars prompt warning
POLICE are reminding people to make sure their cars are locked at all times.
Two complaints were received by police of property stolen from unlocked cars.
A mobile phone was stolen from a car in Boyne Crescent, West Gladstone at around 9.15pm on Tuesday.
An MP3, camera and CDs were taken from another car in Kauri Drive, Kin Kora sometime overnight Monday.
A 25-year-old male was charged with drink-driving at 11.30pm on Tuesday.
Police intercepted the vehicle on J Hickey Drive, Clinton.
The man had a reading of 0.136.
A wallet, bike and scooter were stolen from the Boyne Island Community Centre on Tuesday night.
Tannum Sands police have asked for residents to notify police if they see anyone acting suspiciously in the area.
