Works begin on Brookview Estate’s resort-style facilities

THE recreational hub that will form the focal point of Latitude Development Group's $90 million Brookview Estate in Gladstone is taking shape.

Builders have broken ground on the facility which, will mean the introduction of resort-style facilities to Gladstone's residential land market.

Brookview Estate's recreational centrepiece will feature a stunning 25m outdoor lap pool, children's wading pool, gym, barbecue area, function room and kitchenette with adjoining children's play area.

Set amid lush landscaped parklands, the facilities will be accessible to residents via security-coded entry.

LDG director of residential sales Chris Thompson said Brookview's residents were eager to welcome the estate's recreational hub.

"We should see the entire precinct come together by December," he said.

"That's great news for residents who will be able to make the most of the warm summer months outdoors with friends and family."

Mr Thompson said the residential resort model had continued to appeal to families and investors confident of solid rental returns.

"Gladstone's community is diverse, and with that diversity comes demand for fresh, new residential options and that is exactly what we're delivering at Brookview," he said.

"Brookview's resort-style model is a first for Gladstone and the recreation centre and its facilities will offer residents an unparalleled resort lifestyle and create a real community vibe.

"Apart from providing great leisure and fitness opportunities, the centre will be the perfect ice breaker for new residents, especially those who are new to the Gladstone region or have partners working in remote areas.

"Brookview offers much more than just a home, it's a way of life that buyers are increasingly seeking out."

Mr Thompson said the community-title estate's public areas would be maintained by an on-site property manager.

LDG is selling stage three blocks which range from 450sq m to 800sq m and are priced from $215,000 - $260,000.

LDG has a proven track record of project delivery throughout Australia, including residential, resort and commercial developments in regional Queensland and New South Wales.

LDG's other major projects include the Peppers branded Coral Coast Resort which saw the introduction of a major resort brand into the Airlie Beach market.
