The Glen to tune up in pre-season competition in Rockhampton

CRICKET: The Glen will take part in the Moltec T20 Club Bash today and tomorrow in Rockhampton.

Aside from the first competitive hit-out for players, the event's other purpose is as a selection trial for the Open Central Queensland Seamers T20 team, which will play in the Bulls Masters Queensland CountryT20 Bash in October in Mackay.

Clubs from around the region were invited to participate with defending Frenchville Sports Club A-grade premiers Frenchville Falcons and the Frenchville Sports Club Capricorn Challenge winners Gracemere Bulls leading the way.

The Glen take on Gracemere at 9am today, followed by game two against Frenchville at 1pm.

Rocky Brothers will be The Glen's third opponent tomorrow at 9am and the grand final will be between the two top-ranked sides at 1pm tomorrow.

The Frenchville Sports Club A-grade competition will start on Saturday and the Frenchville Sports Club Capricorn Challenge will start September 29 or October 6. Confirmation of the exact date will be determined in coming days.
