Entertainment centre has top acts planned for August

THE Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre has plenty of live performances planned in coming weeks.

X-Factor contestant Dean Ray will perform at the venue on August 14, his first gig in Gladstone.

Later in the month, the man responsible for I've Been Everywhere, Lucky Starr, will perform on August 18 as part of the Morning Melodies events.

For the Disney lovers, Snow White and the 7 Cool Dudes will bring their play to Gladstone on August 24.

The interactive show brings together all the favourite characters from the original story in a modern day re-enactment.

Critically acclaimed comedy Reserved Seating Only will feature on August 26.

It brings together life, love and AFL.

Then on August 29, the Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase hits town, boasting a line-up of the best local and international comics and showcasing some of the funniest and freshest emerging talents.
