So Si Bon among All-Star cast

ENIGMATIC So Si Bon is among a star cast of 25 Lindsay Park contenders for the $5 million All-Star Mile at Flemington.

Having ended an 831-day drought with Lord Stakes victory on Boxing Day, So Si Bon could be given a crack at the world's richest 1600m race on March 16.

David and Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig have nominated a dazzling array of talent featuring crack sprinters Redkirk Warrior and Vega Magic as well as British stayer Muntahaa.

Dual Newmarket Handicap winner Redkirk Warrior won over 2000m early in a globe-trotting career, while Vega Magic is untried at the mile.

Australian Cup winner Harlem is also among Lindsay Park's platoon of entrants.

Nominations for the All-Star Mile close on January 15. The public will then have the chance to vote for their favourite horses.

The All-Star Mile is run at weight-for-age and is limited to a field size of 14.

Confirmed contenders already include Grunt, Aristia, Ringerdingding, Happy Clapper, Extra Brut and Sky Boy.

Lindsay Park's nominations:

Alfarris, Cardini, Cascavelle, Fundamentalist, Gold Mag, Good 'n' Fast, Harlem, Invincible Karma, Long Leaf, Mickey Blue Eyes, More Sundays, Muntahaa, Poetic Dream, Poised to Strike, Qafila, Redkirk Warrior, Ronan's Rock, Seaburge, Sikandarabad, Sikorsky, Smiling City, Snitzson, So Si Bon, Titus and Vega Magic.
