THE Easter Bunny will have a hard time filling all of the city's Easter baskets this weekend if Gladstone kids have anything to do with it.

About 50 children cut, coloured, folded and pasted their way through reams of paper, lots of glue and many colouring pencils to impress their furry idol at Stockland's basket making workshop within the first hour on Monday.

Tom and Cody Wolff were among the children who decorated their baskets to ensure they weren't forgotten by the Easter bunny this Sunday.

The boys got in early to create their baskets before spending the Easter holidays with family.

The workshops run until Thursday, from 10am to 1pm, at the Gladstone shopping centre.

The Easter Bunny and Alice in Wonderland will visit to the centre from 11am on Sunday to give out chocolate eggs.
