IF you're looking for something to do in the Gladstone region this weekend, here are 10 suggestions to get you started.
1. The Freedom Festival
THE Freedom Festival will be held today from 10am - 9.30pm at the Gladstone Showgrounds. There will be live music, food stalls, markets and celebrity visits.
It is $5 entry and money raised from the event will be donated to the Reach Out Foundation.

2. El Grande Music Festival
MUSIC lovers are in for a treat over the weekend, when one of the region's biggest music festivals, El Grande kicks off.
The first night was last night, and on Saturday and Sunday the music starts from 2pm at the Grand Hotel.
Tickets are available at the door for $60 on Saturday and $35 on Sunday.

3. Maxim Swimwear Model Competition
THINGS are heating up at the Tannum Sands Hotel.
The second heat of the Maxim Bikini Model Competition will be held tonight.

4. GAPS diet support group
THE GAPS diet support group meets on the third Saturday of each month at 94 Glenlyon St, Gladstone at 9.30am.
GAPS, gut and psychology syndrome, can send toxicity in your gut and flow through the body to the brain.

5. Cedar Galleries Farmers Markets
HELD every Sunday at Cedar Galleries, the Farmers Markets has locally grown fresh produce, various market stalls, rides and jumping castles for the kids.
Come along for breakfast or coffee and cake at their cafe. Don't forget to say hi to their famous alpacas.
There will be something for everyone at the Cedar Galleries Farmers Markets.
6. Miriam Vale Markets
THE Miriam Vale Lions Club invites you to the Miriam Vale Markets held every third Saturday of the month throughout the year.
Stroll through the delightful cool and shady park to view a variety of stalls.
There is fresh produce, plants, clothing and accessories for sale.
Fancy something to eat? Tempt your taste buds with a sizzling fillet steak, sausage or bacon burger.
7. RSPCA Adoption Day
IF YOU'RE in the market for a new fluffy friend, the best place to be on Sunday is the Friends of RSPCA Gladstone adoption day.
They have some paw-some cats and dogs up for adoption, which are in need of loving homes.
There is a range of cats and dogs in different shapes, sizes, ages and colours.
To adopt a cat visit 17 Pams Crt, Beecher from 10am-1pm and for dogs head to the Gladstone RSPCA shelter opposite the NRG power station from 9am-noon. 12pm.
8. Friends of Bindaree
PICK up a bargain at the Friends of Bindaree Boyne Island today.
There are clothes, furniture, books, children's toys and more on sale.
Friends of Bindaree will hold its next garage sale on March 21 from 7am-noon at the giant sheds at the back of Bindaree Lodge off Wyndham Ave at Boyne Island.
9. Cent sale
THE Gladstone Bowls Club will host a cent sale at its clubhouse on Ferris St on Saturday March 21.
There will be plenty of prizes, a cake walk, raffles and a multi draw. Doors open at 11am for a 1pm start.
Admission is $1 for adults and 50 cents for children.

10. Biloela Markets in the Park
THERE will be a wide variety of market stalls in Biloela today.
The monthly Biloela Markets in the Park will be held today from 8am-2pm in Barimis Park.
Held on the third Saturday of each month, the markets offer a range of fresh produce, plants, jewellery, clothing, accessories and handcrafted items.
