Tema takes up clipboard while injured
RUGBY UNION: Gladstone Goats will have to make do without influential forward Paul Tema for at least another three matches as he recovers from a shoulder injury.
Tema injured himself on representative duty on April 28 and has since taken up the coaches' clipboard during Gladstone's Rugby Capricornia matches.
"I did my rotator cuff and dislocated my shoulder in the Central East versus Central West game," he said.
"I'll be coming back in June for the Country Championships."
The rotator cuff is a group of muscles and tendons that surround the shoulder joint.
As much as coaching has been a change of pace for the hulking lock, he'd rather be out in the middle helping his teammates.
"I'll always be a part of the team and do what's right for the team," he said.
