Team still has the Power and aims to win big this year

FACES have changed; some recognisable names like Hurst and Neves are gone.

The Power is not.

The name Jess Bibby still fills the coach column on the score sheet, the team is still geared towards success, and a few pre-season matches have shown the young crop can get the job done.

Heading down to Brisbane this weekend for a clash with Brisbane Spartans, the trip south will be the first time this year the whole team has seen each other, let alone played together.

Using the match as a hit-out before all members converge in the area closer to the season-opener, assistant coach Troy Hinds, one of the faces who will be familiar on the Power bench, is keen to give the title another tilt.

"Our ambition is to come in and win; every game we play to win," he said. "Teams had a fear factor of us; we might have lost that a little bit."

Yet, with an injection of youth, the impact on the psyche of the opposition is set to change.
