Trainer Tayla has a passion for motivation

HELPING people reach their fitness goals is one of the many passions of Tayla Campbell.

The 21-year-old works as a professional trainer at Gladstone Physio and Fitness while studying a teaching degree with CQUniversity.

She has worked at the gym for three years.

"I started working here part time during uni. It has such a positive energy and there's so many nice people to be around," she said.

Initially she worked at the front counter, until she finished her certificate three and four in personal training.

When she's not at work, Ms Campbell sometimes volunteers to help teach students Toolooa State High School.

Now in her final year of study, she said her dream job would involve teaching and sports.

The Gladstone local said she spent plenty of time at the beach, at either Tannum Sands or Agnes Water.

"My brother and I bought surf boards.

"They're long boards. We can both stand up, but that's about it," she said.
