Task force charges Coast man with drug, property crime

A SUNSHINE Coast man has been charged with drug and property offences by officers from the Greyhound Racing Inquiry Task Force. 

The 21-year-old man was charged with two counts of possess tainted property and one count each of stealing, possess dangerous drugs, possess utensils and possession of things used in an offence. 

He is expected to appear in Caloundra Magistrates Court on June 1. 

The task force acted on information provided by the Queensland Racing Stewards and Integrity Regulatory Unit. 

The Greyhound Racing Inquiry Task Force investigation is continuing and anyone with information about animal cruelty matters, including live baiting practices - whether historic or current - is urged to come forwards and help with the investigation.
