Tannum residents hit with car break-in spate

STOLEN goods were taken from a number of vehicles in Tannum Sands after thieves rummaged through unlocked cars on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Police said wallets, purses and similar items of value were stolen.

Gladstone police are asking for assistance from residents in the Tannum Sands area if they saw or heard anything suspicious.

"Please be vigilant and remove any items of value from your vehicles and ensure the vehicle is left properly locked and secured," police said.
