THERE is nothing more exciting then jumping in the car with the family and taking a trip around town to view the Christmas lights displays.

And don't worry about finding your way because The Observer's Christmas Lights Trail Map will show you the way.

Scattered throughout the region are plenty of beautifully decorated houses guaranteed to bring the magic of Christmas to everyone.

Many residents have taken Christmas lights to a new level, with a house's lights in Leonie Court choreographed in tune with music and in some cases whole streets getting in on the action.

The map is available in The Observer on Thursday, December 22, Friday, December 23 and Saturday, December 24.

Observer photographer Christopher Chan recorded the spectacle using his amazing artistic talent so be sure to watch it!
