Supporters flock to film to help women’s health
GLADSTONE Cinema hosted a fundraiser movie for the Gladstone Women's Health Centre on Sunday, attracting dozens of supporters.
The centre's Robyn Liddell was delighted at the turnout.
She said one of the important things the centre offers is sexual assault counselling to women, girls, men and boys.
"I would rather live in a world where it wasn't needed, but it is," she said.
Support for the not-for-profit organisation is needed, she said.
She encouraged people to get in touch.
"A lot of people come in about one thing and they come to realise there's something else going on," she said.
Ms Liddell said a membership drive was coming up.
"We really value our members," she said.
