Students learn job interview skills from professionals

TEAGAN Codd beat 15 other year 11 students to a hypothetical job yesterday during the Education Queensland and Industry Partnership mock interviews.

Each student had two job interviews with professionals from companies in the Gladstone region.

Tannum Sands High School student Laura Shaw said she wasn't feeling nervous before her interview.

"I felt really calm and we connected," she said.

"They should hire me because I'm a very hard working person, dedicated and willing to learn more about their business."
