Students learn about minerals and energy sector

YOUNG Gladstone residents will learn more about the minerals and energy sector today as part of the STEM 4 SchoolKids workshop by CQUniversity.

There will be 30 year 10 students from Chanel College, Tannum Sands, Gladstone and Toolooa High Schools at the event.

Students will speak to industry professionals and engage in hands-on science and engineering related challenges and activities relevant to pursuing a career in the resources sector.

A virtual academy of 34 Queensland schools, the QMEA is an industry/education partnership between Queensland Resources Council and the Queensland Government.
