Students pitch ideas for Gladstone's future
FOR the past fortnight, Gladstone has been home to 13 CQUniversity students participating in the Gladstone Region Social Innovation Incubator, a learning project to help drive creative and innovative thinking in the local community (we bring you their findings inside the Weekend Observer).
The two-week project, supported by local businesses and industry including Gladstone Ports Corporation and Home Ground Gladstone, ends today, when the students pitch their project ideas for social innovation to a "Dragon's Den" of local leaders.
Leaders include GPC chief executive Craig Doyle, Gladstone Mayor Cr Gail Sellers, and CQUniversity Vice-Chancellor Professor Scott Bowman.
