Stolen cattle: 400 head missing from Charters Towers farm

Officers from the Stock and Rural Crime Investigation Squad are appealing for public assistance as they investigate the theft of over 400 head of cattle from a property near Charters Towers.

Between July 2013 and March 2014, 426 head of Brahman cross breeder cows and bulls were stolen from an agisted paddock on a property south of Charters Towers.

The cows ranged between two and ten years of age and would have ranged from dry to calves at foot.

The cattle were either branded or cross branded with the below brands.
