Steve and Chantelle bring The Block judge to tears

THE fans and faves are tied after last night's room reveals on The Block.

Brad and Dale and Steve and Chantelle are neck and neck ahead of tonight's final score reveal.

Last night the four final interior spaces - second floor hallways, walk-in robes, master bedrooms and en suites - were presented to the judges.

Once judge Neale Whitaker's scores are revealed tonight, one of the two teams will win $10,000 to put towards their rooftop terrace.

The scoreboard was locked at three wins a piece for the fans and faves teams going into yesterday's final interior reveals.

The reveals come after the now completed Albert Park apartments were opened to the public for the first time in Melbourne on Saturday.

Thousands of fans queued for hours to get a glimpse of the four luxury loft-style apartments.

The "super Ks" Kyal and Kara didn't receive their usual praise last night.

The harsh concrete bedhead contributed to a clinical master bedroom that was "devoid of feeling and soul" according to Whitaker.

Their walk-in robe, with its lack of storage, was equally unimpressive but Kyal and Kara redeemed themselves with their en suite.

The twins also received mixed feedback. But the judges didn't seem bothered by the smaller size of their master bedroom to accommodate their light-enhancing void.

"I don't feel this room is compromised in size," Darren Palmer said.

"This is still an appropriate sized bedroom."

Neale Whitacker said the bathroom queens were back on track with their perfectly styled master bathroom.

But so were the "bathroom kings" Brad and Dale, who surprised with their bathtub in the master bedroom.

The favourites' punt on the bathtub paid off handsomely.

They were going for a luxurious oasis, and the judges said they achieved it.

"This is awesome," Palmer exclaimed.

"This is so much more luxurious than I expected to see in any apartment this week."

Whitaker called it "pretty special" and Blaze was speechless.

But the least experienced renovators Steve and Chantelle had the biggest moment of the night.

The sophistication of their master bedroom blew the judges away.

"Who are these people? This does not feel like Steve and Chantelle," Shaynna Blaze said

Whitaker called their choice of tiles in their en suite the best on The Block so far.

The Melbourne couple's drastic improvement brought Blaze to tears.

"I get goose bumps at this stage when you've got a couple who struggled so much," she said.

"I'm so happy for them. You see a couple who struggle and you know the emotion journey they go through.

"You get to the end and you see what they can do here. You just think how much pain there must have been in in the beginning not knowing what they were doing and now they've produced this; it's magic."

The winning upstairs rooms will be announced tonight.

The Block: Fans vs Faves airs at 7.30pm on Channel 9/WIN.
