Raheem Sterling helps puts Reds in pole position for title

FOOTBALL: The EPL title is now Liverpool's to lose.

That was the upshot of the team's 3-2 win against Norwich at Carrow Road yesterday, a result that gave the Reds a five-point buffer over Chelsea at the top of the standings. Third-placed Manchester City was a further four points back in third place, although it had two games in hand, including this morning's encounter against West Brom.

Raheem Sterling scored a double and Luis Suarez also found the net for Liverpool.

The loss left Norwich just a single point above the relegation zone with games against Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal to come. In other games, Arsenal beat Hull 3-0 in a preview of next month's FA Cup final, and Manchester United manager David Moyes had an unsuccessful return to his old stomping ground at Everton as the Red Devils lost 2-0 to give next season's European competition aspirations a serious setback.
