I want what she's wearing: Lynda Ninness
WE catch up with Gladstone people and talk about fashion in this new series.
Name: Lynda Ninness.
Occupation: Community advocate, merchandising, stay at home mum, millinery maker.
My favourite season to dress for is... Spring, because it's not too hot and not too cold.
Where did you get your outfit from? Custom made hat I made myself.
The dress is from Review and the handbag is from Zelows. Shoes from Williams.
How do you accessorise? Must always match jewellery, shoes and millinery, either do a contrasting colour or colour blocking.
What are your favourite colours to wear: Black, because it's slimming and it goes with anything.
Describe your style…Classic.
What do you look for in an outfit? Something that is fitting for my body type and height.
Something that isn't too short. It has to be classy and stylish.
What's your fashion faux pas? Short skirts. I don't agree with them.
They're just not attractive on anyone unless you're a model.
Who's your fashion icon? Audrey Hepburn. She's classic, understated, always classy.
My favourite store (online or retailer) is... I'd have to go for DFO, they've got everything there.
What styles are 'in'? Stepford housewives styles are very in at the moment.
There's lots of skirts with cinched in waists, tailored, and either a pencil skirt or a fuller skirt.
Flats or heels? I always love a good heel, in particular a nice wedge, that's always good.
They're comfortable, easy to walk and stand in.
The most money I've spent on an item of clothing is… $250 on a ball gown.
If you could swap wardrobes with anyone, who would you choose? I would say Kathy Corones. She's always so well dressed.
