Fashions set to light up catwalk

ANY fashionista worth her weight in shoes is already dressed in her fashion finery.

Today is Zonta’s Annual Fashion Parade and lunch, a highlight of the Gladstone fashion calendar.

Zonta member Natalie Cooper said the event has got bigger every year.

“The fashion parade has grown every year in popularity, and in more recent years we’ve maximised seating capacity of 200 easily.

“This year, along with our fabulous fashion parade feature spring fashions from Fantasy Rags, there’ll be displays, raffle and something very special… and a secret for now. It’s about ‘good times’ for the ladies of Gladstone, and being able to give back to community too.”

All money raised from the event goes towards the Shine program which is ran for local high school girls by the school’s Chaplaincy.

The Zonta Annual Fashion Parade will be held on Saturday, September 11 at Rydges Hotel’s fourth floor. The day starts at noon and the lunch is at 12.30.

Tickets are $50 per person and are available from Fantasy Rags. For more information, phone 4972 3676
