Henry Speight can be replaced, says Brumbies coach

BRUMBIES coach Stephen Larkham says he is confident whoever replaces suspended winger Henry Speight for Saturday night's Super Rugby semi-final against the Hurricanes will be up to the task.

Speight (pictured) elected to challenge the red card he was given for a lifting tackle on Stormers captain Juan De Jongh in the 39-19 elimination final win in Cape Town at the weekend, but was found guilty at a judicial hearing yesterday and suspended for five weeks.

That means he will miss the semi-final in Wellington, and the grand final if the Brumbies beat the Hurricanes, as well as the first two games of Australia's Rugby Championship campaign. "We've got Robbie Coleman, James Dargaville and Nigel Ah Wong - all have had really good years this year," Larkham said.

"All have very good combinations with the other starting members. Whichever way we go there we'll be fine."
