SMILE! You're on crime-time TV. The brazen thieves who nabbed a coldroom stocked with $7000 in booze were caught on CCTV.

Police released stills from the footage on Tuesday in the hope it would jog someone's memory.

The theft, at Marley Brown Oval, was done using a Toyota Hilux between late Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

"If anyone is having a three-day party and there is a large amount of alcohol that can't be explained they should contact police and let us know," Gladstone CIB Detective Senior Sergeant Luke Peachey said.

"Between 11.20pm-12.30am unknown offenders used unknown implements to cut a hole in the back fence.

"They located a coldroom which was full of approximately $7000 worth of alcohol which was planned to be supplied to patrons at the rugby league grand final.

"They hooked up the coldroom and left the location to an unknown address."

Sgt Peachey said the vehicle being used was a white older-model Hilux.

He said the owner of the coldroom lost a source of income due to the theft.

The coldroom has the words Be-cool Mobile Freezer on the side of it.

"It would appear that they (thieves) had knowledge of what they were doing and that there was a level of planning," Sgt Peachey said.

"They went to the location knowing there was going to be a grand final the next day."

Be-Cool Ice Supplies and Coldroom Hire has offered a $500 reward for the fridge.
