Skateboarder critically injured in crash

A 23-YEAR-OLD man was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with life threatening head injuries after losing control of his skateboard in Gatton yesterday afternoon.

Preliminary investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit indicate the man, a Gatton local,  was riding down Cleary St about 3pm when he crashed heavily, near the intersection with Railway St.

Police investigations are continuing.
