Shops closing for Anzac Day

MANY shops around the Gladstone region will be closing their doors on Anzac Day to show their respect for the traditional significance of the day.

As for pubs and clubs, liquor will be served as usual from 1pm, with the exception of RSL clubs, which can trade from 5am.

Keep an eye out for signage around town with trading hours for the long weekend.

Trading hours:

Stockland Gladstone – closed Sunday and Monday.

Kmart – closed Sunday/Monday.

Coles (Dawson Highway) – closed Sunday and Monday.

Sunvalley IGA – open Sunday 1pm – 6pm and Monday 8am – 6pm.

Woolworths Centro – closed Sunday and Monday.

Cinemas – open as normal.

Gladstone Regional Library – closed Sunday and Monday.
