Shopping centre hopes new Gladstone business to open soon

MANAGEMENT of a Toolooa shopping centre are "hopeful" a new business will move into one of its vacant shops within weeks.

Much-loved restaurant Indian Brothers closed its doors late last month, but Toolooa Shopping Centre's manager Barbara Nairne said there'd been plenty of interest in the premises'.

"We hope to have a new operator of the old Indian Brothers within the next few weeks," Mrs Nairne said.

Ms Nairne, also the manager of the centre's laundromat, Toolooa Treasures, posted to the centre's Facebook page that there would be plenty of hungry customer if it were to become a food outlet.  

"We would love a hamburger, coffee, sandwich, cupcakes, or muffins to be available for the starving staff or laundromat customers."
