Measles alert for Kawana Shoppingworld customers
HEALTH officials have warned that shoppers who visited Kawana Shoppingworld on Sunday may have been exposed to a potentially infectious case of measles.
Sunshine Coast Public Health Unit director Andrew Langley said the infected person was in Woolworths from 11.30am to noon and the Coles supermarket around 5pm.
Dr Langley said measles was highly contagious among people who were not fully immunised.
"People usually feel quite ill,'' he said.
