Shopkeeper threatened with gun during armed robbery

POLICE are investigating after an armed robbery in West Gladstone overnight.

A man entered a Mellefont Street shop at 10.20pm and threatened the attendant with a gun, demanding cash.

The man ran from the shop with money.

He is described as Caucasian and about 20-years-old. He was wearing a brown hoodie and jeans, and had a black bandana and sunglasses over his face.

The shopkeeper was not physically injured.
