Set sail from Keppel Bay Marina: You don’t even need a yacht

KEPPEL Bay Marina is the first port of call on a still day on Capricorn Coast waters; the gateway to the pristine Keppel islands.

A visit to Yeppoon is not complete without exploring the islands of Keppel Bay.

Meet the dolphins, turtles and fish of this wonderful area on the catamaran Grace, crewed by her owners Anthony and Vicki of Sail Capricornia.

Whether it is a full day of sailing, snorkelling, swimming and enjoying a delicious lunch or a beautiful sunset sail taking in the breathtaking splendour of the Keppels at sunset, Sail Capricornia has something to suit everyone.

Corporate functions and teambuilding groups are also catered for - a great shared experience and activities to help build the spirit, while refreshing body and soul.

An island adventure cruise offered by Sail Capricornia includes three days aboard Grace visiting various beaches around the islands, including Great Keppel. Two nights are spent ashore at GKI Holiday Village.

It includes all meals, accommodation and snorkeling gear. Self-catering options are available. If there are more than 10 people in a group, everyone gets a 5% discount

Grace cruises Keppel waters on a full-day sail to secluded beaches and coves. She drops anchor for a few hours while her guests snorkel, beachcomb, swim or simply relax on board soaking up the Queensland sunshine.

Guests can enjoy morning tea, afternoon tea, a full buffet lunch and refreshments. BYO alcohol is welcome.

Catering, snorkel gear and basic fishing handlines are included in the package. You just need to take a towel, sunscreen and a camera.

The cost for adults is $115, children $75 and concession $100.
