SES called in to help disoriented hiker on Mt Larcom

THE SES was called in to help a hiker who had lost the markers on his way back down from Mt Larcom on Monday afternoon.

Gladstone police confirmed the man had received SES assistance to navigate his way back down.

The man became disoriented at about 2.20pm, and requested assistance after heading back to the summit.

His biggest complaint was of mosquitoes as he awaited SES support, according to a Gladstone police spokeswoman,
