Qualified chef cooking for the kids at new child care centre

THE newly opened Forest Springs Early Learning Centre has a chef offering fresh nutritious meals, innovative play equipment and a funky design.

The child care centre opened this week in Kirkwood, near the Woolworths shopping centre.

Centre Director, Teresa Taylor, said there was nothing like this in the area.

"We've selected a very passionate team of educators who are highly qualified and enthusiastic early childhood professionals. Our approach is child-centered, and we've created a safe, supportive and caring environment for children aged six weeks to five years.

"There are many great features at Forest Springs Early Learning Centre. We have an on-site chef who prepares healthy meals to fuel little bodies for play, and children can get involved in developing their culinary skills. The classrooms are large and bright and feature the latest technology including interactive whiteboards and learning material.

The centre can take 124 students, and there are still spots available.

The high-quality facility features an eco-conscious design, innovative outdoor playscapes, chef's kitchen serving fresh, nutritious meals, and central parent lounge where parents can enjoy complimentary barista-made coffee and fresh baked goods during their morning visit.

Company Director Michael Hovey said the facility would set a new benchmark for childcare and kindergarten in the region.

"We've had a warm welcome from the community, and it's great to see families so excited by our centre, he said."

"Every corner of every space has been designed with a purpose to provide children with a safe and magical haven for friendships to grow and learning flourish."
