Yes, Seagulls were belted 46-6 against a polished Valleys Diehards outfit, but it was the manner in how the losing team applied itself.

Valleys were made to work hard for every try as the players from both teams put their bodies on the line.

There were some great distances gained through the middle of the ground and along the wings.

Despite the one-sided score of 30-0 at half time, Seagulls' salvaged some pride with a second-half try and conversion and it looked a much more even contest than what the scores suggested.
