THE 2015 Seafood Festival will have live music, fresh Queensland seafood, an operating bar and more.
Held on Sunday 25th October from 11am-5pm at the GPC Marina Parklands, the 2015 Gladstone Seafood Festival has all the right ingredients to be the perfect day out.
Indie Folk Rock Trio - The Short Fall will entertain the crowds throughout the day, along with cooking demonstrations from Celebrity Chef Alastair McLeod; foodies are bound to find some inspiration from Alastair's menu, which will focus on a variety of beautiful, fresh Queensland Seafood.
"There's a stat that says the average shopping basket has travelled 70,000km.

"If we select food as close to the source as possible it'll taste better, will have less food miles and will support local business," Alastair said.
Festival-goers won't be disappointed with the abundance of fresh seafood on offer from the Gladstone Fish Market, who will be serving up fresh prawns, bugs, crabs, oysters and mussels.
And of course the famous Gladstone Seafood Festival 'One Armed Prawn Peeling Competition' will be back this year, with winners taking home the coveted trophy and bragging rights for the entire year!
There will be a licenced bar operating throughout the event, with drink tickets available for purchase on the day, along with a huge variety of food and speciality stalls.
