School friends marry after reconnecting on social media

A COUPLE that met in primary school, dated in high school, lost touch then reconnected via social media have married in a ceremony at Seventeen Seventy.

Emma Griffiths and Dan Lee were married at a stunning wedding ceremony on March 8 in the company of the couple's closest family and friends.

Guests travelled to Seventeen Seventy from as far away as Mt Isa, Darwin and Adelaide to witness the pair exchange nuptials.

After meeting in primary school, it was a matter of timing for the couple, who also dated briefly in high school but were separated by relocation.

After reconnecting via social media, love once again sparked between the pair and they have been inseparable ever since.

The junior bridal party consisted of the pair's son Hunter, 15 months, and Mrs Lee's two daughters Bella, 5, and Charlotte, 7.

The bride's sister Kate Griffiths was maid of honour and Mr Lee's best friend Brendan was the groomsman.

"It was an absolutely fantastic day," Mrs Lee said.
