Runaway horse 'arrested' after running red light in CBD

A HORSE on the loose in the Toowoomba CBD last night ran a red light before being apprehended by members of the public.

The horse was spotted about 11.15pm near the intersection of Bridge and Curzon Sts.

It was last seen near the Cobb and Co Museum before disappearing in Queens Park.

Minutes late, City Safe cameras located the horse running a red light at the intersection of Ruthven and Margaret Sts.

Members of the public managed to have the horse tied to a rope by the time police arrived.
